Annual Lantern Parade
The Annual Lantern Parade is a heartwarming event that serves to reduce isolation and foster connections within the community. As people of all ages come together to craft and display their vibrant, handmade lanterns, the atmosphere is filled with a sense of good old-fashioned fun. This cherished tradition not only illuminates the streets but also strengthens intergenerational links, as families and neighbours unite to celebrate creativity and shared joy. In a world where loneliness can often prevail, the Lantern Parade shines a bright light on the importance of togetherness, ensuring that everyone feels involved and appreciated and brings the Christmas Light celebration to those who are unable to get out and join in person.
Craft, Chat, Create: Unleash Your Creativity!
Join us for our weekly sessions of Craft and Chat, where creativity meets conversation! These gatherings provide a warm and welcoming space for individuals to engage in crafting linked to our projects while enjoying meaningful discussions with others strengthening community and friendship. Our sessions are designed to help reduce feelings of isolation and encourage positive mental well-being, as participants share stories, skills, and laughter.
